Hello. I’m Cherie.

With more than 20 years' experience spanning digital solutions, user experience, vocational education and enterprise learning, I've worked across government, education, mining, renewable energy, construction and not-for-profit sectors. My career has evolved alongside technology—from designing websites and digital experiences to developing enterprise learning ecosystems—but the underlying purpose has remained the same: helping people navigate complexity through intuitive, user-centred design.

Throughout my career, I've translated complex operational, technical and regulatory requirements into practical, engaging solutions that improve capability, strengthen compliance and support organisational change. I collaborate with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify capability needs, shape learning strategy and deliver scalable solutions that balance business objectives, learner needs and measurable outcomes.

My background in web development, UX, information architecture and digital strategy continues to influence the way I approach learning. Designing enterprise websites taught me that successful digital experiences are not defined by technology alone—they are shaped by how easily people can find information, make decisions and complete tasks with confidence. Today, I apply those same principles to Learning Experience Design (LXD), enterprise learning technologies, onboarding ecosystems and workforce capability, creating learning that is intuitive, accessible and embedded into everyday work.

Formal qualifications in bookkeeping and accounting complement this background by strengthening my understanding of business operations, financial management and organisational decision-making, allowing me to align learning initiatives with broader organisational priorities.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me swimming laps at the local pool, exploring the outdoors, tending to an ever-growing collection of plants or creating art. I'm currently completing a Master of Education (Educational Leadership), driven by a genuine curiosity about how people learn, organisations grow and capability can be strengthened. I'm equally passionate about great coffee and dark chocolate—small rituals that remind me that creativity and good ideas often emerge when we slow down and pay attention.
